逾越节 (正月十四日)

Passover (Nisan 14, Mar/Apr, Spring Feast)

除酵节 (正日十五日开始至第七日)

Feast of Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15, Mar/Apr, Spring Feast)

初熟节 (正月十六日/逾越节安息次日)

Feast of Firstfruits (Nisan 16 or Sivan 6, Mar/Apr/May/Jun, Spring Feast)


Feast of Harvest = Feast of Weeks = Pentecost


Feast of Weeks (pass 7w, Sivan – 50d aft Firstfruits, May/Jun, Spring Feast)


Pentecost (kept for 50 days)

吹角节 (7月1日)

Feast of Trumpets (Tishri 1-2 (new moon), Sep/Oct, Fall Feast)

赎罪日 (7月10日)

Day of Atonement (Tishri 10, Sep/Oct, Fall Feast)


Feast of Ingathering = Feast of Tabernacles = 七月节 = Feast of Booths

住棚节 (7月15-22日,前後8日)

Feast of Tabernacles (Tishri 15-22, Sep/Oct, Fall Feast)

  1. We know that the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread are held from the 14th to the 21st day of the first month of the year . Did you know that when Jesus was crucified, these Feasts fell during the month of Av? These was so because the Israelites then was using two kinds of calendars—a lunar calendar and a lunisolar calendar. These Feasts were in the lunar calendar. In the lunisolar calendar, New Year’s Day, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles were fixed on Tishri 1, 10, 15-22, respectively.
