<Ps 90:10> The length of our days is seventy years— or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their spana is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.
This year, I am 36 years old already. I am left with at most 34 years left on earth. 10 years ago when we started the church, I had 44 years. Time really flies! What have I achieved? Or what has God done through me so far?
<Ps 90:14-15> Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
From a Shepherd who looks down at a congregation, who has the most blessed look? I have learnt that he is not someone who is successful or someone great. He is the one who accepts more love from people than others. He is most satisfied of what God has given him. He receives the most convictions from the pulpit. He has the biggest change of expressions when listening to the pulpit message. He has the most love for the church and all around him.
<Ps 90:11> Who knows the power of your anger? For your wrath is as great as the fear that is due you.
Do not compare. If you compare first, you will be tired, discouraged, see no fruits, give up, want to change church, sin more, prayers fail more, etc. It gets worse and unending because there is a law of darkness at the start. You must realize that the spirit that starts is evil.
<Ps 90:12> Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
However, if you face God by numbering your days, you begin with thanks, hope, love; you can become the smallest willingly and satisfyingly, and correct prayers just grow and grow!
<1Co 6:20> “you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”
If no fruits, it is for the glory of God <Jn 9, 11>.
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. <Jn 9:3>
Therefore, do not be discouraged, but persist in following Christ:
<Ga 6:9> “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
The prayers of many (in or outside the group) may fail, but it will cause the prayers of a group of saints to reach the heavens.
<Ps 90:17> May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
