The fact is that you are still breathing right now as you read this. Yet, the Spirit of Life is the truth that is giving that ability to breathe, the air to breathe, and the coordination of all things from your sub-conscious mind, the “peace” by grace that still lives in your soul, the lungs of your body, to the oxygen in the air so that you can read into these words. Simply speaking, the Truth of God is already with you by the real, down-to-earth and grounded fact that you can read these words. And how much more so, that the Holy Spirit of Truth lives in you, if you understand these words.

We have to grow up. Carnal believers still need to be fed with milk, but spiritual believers can take in solid food <1Co 3:1-3>. The believer who can rely on the Holy Spirit can digest the outward truth of things and know God’s perfect will immediately. Is anything a coincidence? For God even meant that practical events that happened in our lives have His voice. When we rely on the truth of things (God abides in all), we will even be able to prophesy things that are to come. I quote an example below.

Moses always saw that God used his staff as an authority to perform miracles against Pharaoh. Moses saw that it pleased God to use him no matter how strong his faith was. It was an understanding in the heart. That staff was nothing, but Moses understood whatever he said or did, God co-worked with him, because it is the truth that God loves and uses those He has chosen without conditions attached, or more accurately, when there is a covenant set up. The understanding (faith) grew stronger. Through the series of events so that the Israelites had no way to go but face the Red Sea, Moses believed (through relying on the truth), and therefore he knew (by the voice of the truth) when he will raise his hands at the Red Sea, the Red Sea would be parted, and it did. In another event, Moses struck a rock twice with his staff, but it was because he disbelieved and therefore allowed rage to take over the truth in his heart. That event was the very turn of events so that God forbade him to enter the Land of Canaan.

The bible is a spiritual book. Therefore, it has to be read by a spiritual man that can take in solid food. Therefore, before just taking the bible to read from Genesis to Revelations, God made it so that we need a framework of truths before being able to read His word. This is called equipping in your “format”, or building the temple, or “continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” <Col 2:6-7> Then we will be able to digest the word of God, where the veil is removed, the essence of God’s word received, and the Holy Spirit incarnated.

The truth is already revealed about what the fruit of the Holy Spirit is. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” <Gal 5:22-23> As I have written in my previous blog https://wengang.wordpress.com/2012/05/24/outside-in/, we do not wait till “inside out” happens. The (potential of the) fruit of the Holy Spirit is already in us. Therefore, relying on this truth, we love, we smile and we care for all the relationships God gave us. If there are worries about a person’s soul that we love, we intercede, we give patience, we give alerts, and we entrust. The truth is all in our expressions, hands, legs and in our tone and content of our words. When the people we love get what we mean (to show them the love of God), the kingdom has descended on them.

Above all, preserve your heart and mind. The time is limited on earth with everyone having only an average of 70 years of age, and that God judges every believer in the measure of his crown. In fact, the limited time means that “As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work” <John 9:4>. Therefore, be a wise person <Eph 5:15-21>. It does not mean that when the time is limited, so that you have to hurry it through. Take deep breaths – in and out. The truth is still there, that Christ is already victorious because His grave is still empty. He still lives. Open your eyes to the truth, and groan no more, hurry no more, complain no more, and be discouraged no more. Groans, despairs or discouragements only mean that we let our emotions, words and actions affect others, and in fact, it affects more towards us.

For the next blog, I will show you from the book of Ruth, how Boaz has the Culture of Truth all around him. It is the story of how Naomi (symbol of the Church) and Ruth (we brides and body of Christ) relied on Boaz (symbolizes the head of Christ) and the Truth that is all around him.
