The Know-How of Unseen Strength in the King’s Authority

clip_image001[6]

The mystery of strength in the Holy Spirit lies in submission to the Kingly authority. The strength also lies in the power to say “No”. Not sacrifice, but mercy flows from the King’s throne, for that is His greatest desire.

1) The King eternally never changes but we change -> get the first light of wisdom for Christ’s finished work on the cross

<Ps 90:12> Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

God works in imperfections. Limitations give unlimited wisdom.

There are whole lot of difference between men who lived apart from the King and men who lived in the King.

2) Face the King and receive His approval of praise, for strength from Holy Spirit neither comes from knowledge nor fervor

<Ps 91> When a man relies on the King, His grace can then be seen

When there is an opportunity to give up your closest and your life, will you lose to have faith in that chance?

3) Evaluate: unless you have a life of transparency before and rooting into the king of Kings for all things, you will react at certain things by escaping

Experience His grace in all things. Then you can see all assurance, guarantee and insurance in the Lord in all things <Ps 92>. All things empowered comes this way.

4) Do not depend on feelings, but stay inside of this Kingly authority by following the truth, then He will manifest on you

Do not say, "Follow the Lord" yet you do not know what to follow. You have to know His word, for He uses His word to dominate. God has fixed everything. Therefore, do not be muddle-headed to follow.

But take Jehovah as King! For when we rely on Him, His fear, eternity, power, laws, holiness will manifest <Ps 93>. He reigns, therefore, do not fear and worry.

5) Do not become self-defensive when you discover the King’s revealed discipline on yourself

Once we resolute in our hearts, we will meet with problems. Evaluate your own life, for it is somehow a discipline. Face the Lord. Even if you have prayed and your family or the church has not received the kind of protection, take it as discipline, represent your family / church to repent, and receive transcendent peace that God will have blessings. Why become self-defensive? God opposes the proud. Be humble. There is definitely blessings if it is discipline to a child of God. <Ps 94>

6) Be humble to the point of being dominated by Jehovah King

Are you willing to surrender, be left totally contrite, and be dominated by Jehovah?

<Ps 95> The people who Resign and are dominated by Jehovah will then praise Him. If you do not harden your hearts Today, “Oh, that today you would hearken to his voice”, you will hear the Holy Spirit. That gives way to surpassing special grace that abounds.

7) Train and exercise yourself to witness and preach the gospel in and even when out of season; then the King’s domination to all nations flow through you

Allow the King’s domination of all nations / peoples descend into you.

<Ps 96> Jehovah dominates all nations and peoples. Therefore, those who receive the <promise> will dominate all nations and peoples. Not only that God dominates His saints, He also dominates all nations and peoples through His saints.

David sang this Psalm till his pants dropped when he brought the ark of covenant back. Why is He so much in joy? "This is because the Lord is going to dominate all nations through me who brings the ark of covenant back!"

The foundation of all praises come from the cornerstone of the Messiah. Therefore, in all things, find and restore back the cornerstone of the Messiah that is present in all things. The message of His blood is the center of all your evangelism.

8) Judge the hearts of all living AND the dead through the domination of the King

<Ps 97> Jehovah judges the living and the dead. The living are those who follow His dominion, the dead are those who disobeys His dominion.

Judge the hearts of all. There is a dead part in them and there is a living part in them. Make them realize both the dead and the living parts. Some of them will rise from the dead and awake from their spiritual senses.

9) But realize that the Gentiles and people around you are not saved and harvested because the church has not submitted to the King’s authority

Total submission to God and to the church God has planned for you. Then you will definitely influence the people around you.

<Ps 98> When Israel submits to the Dominator, Gentiles and all peoples will know God’s salvation (there is meaning of missions); therefore, there is the purpose of [Kingdom, King and People] in God’s dominion.

When Israel totally submits to the Lord, the nations become saved. Why are the Gentiles not saved? This is because the church has not submitted to the Lord. When you submit to the Lord, you will definitely influence the people in the office.

10) The absolute power of Entrusting and Exploration, since all that the King dominates is already correct because He is holy by nature

<Ps 99> Jehovah is a great God, because He is holy by nature (i.e. All that He dominates are correct). Entrust everything to God, for everything that the Lord has done in your life is not a coincidence, but He has dominated it by His Holiness. Therefore, be totally creative and flexible in exploring on how your ministry can become the core of every gospelization work, since you cannot go out of His dominion.

Somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead

clip_image001

But we are not like orphans, so that when we are weak, we can only rely on ourselves to overcome and reconcile everything in us. God is our Father. He is there when we fail, so that we will keep on being lifted up by Him from failures. His power works by intervening into our limited knowledge and emotions. God accepts us; therefore, make it a point to open up to Him. Intervention always produces struggles, but because of Sola gratia (grace alone), we know that the struggles are different from mere men; the struggles instead start from a regenerative life that moves towards spiritual healing and ends at conquering everything. If God is not proven right by having us go through repentance and humility, He won’t be able to work completely through grace alone next time. It is neither about spiritual enlightenment first, nor works first; it is about God-enablement first.

When we accept Christ’s forgiveness of our weaknesses, how do we make it less cheap of God’s grace, but really in much thanksgiving of God’s immense grace? It is when we accept neither based on the measure of our earnest plea for help so that we felt very peaceful as do the godly religious people do, nor that we can promise we won’t commit any weaknesses again. It is at the moment when we accept it as normally based on the seal of the Holy Spirit’s work on us that cannot be erased or forgotten. This work is God’s work on salvation, based alone on His initiative, which is indescribably enormous that it must work out all salvation for all our Christian life.

How do we get the power to come to us to regenerate our lives so that we can say "no" in setting apart? It is neither because we have no choice but leave everything to the turn of events that may randomly help us, nor when we felt our faith is better so that we can overcome the earthly pull. It is the moment when we realize that our Christian walk has to go through sufferings (or the length of the test of time) in order for our earthly mind to transcend just because of the only reason of the world’s existence, i.e. till the coming of our Lord Jesus. Just like Jesus was nailed on the cross, He led all to the grave and led all to the heavens; it was this suffering to obey God all the way (from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky) that produces power that overcomes the world. For example, when we are trying our best to guard our hearts and minds, the first thing that comes to our mind is testing “Am I truly happy?” When we keep on looking for satisfaction, there becomes an unbelief that results, i.e. “not satisfied = I am not there in the presence of God yet = my faith is weak”. This, essentially, is the tinge of disbelief that comes from Satan’s accusation, actually causing us to lose joy away! Let that go, for you have tried and the Lord has not meant to help you now to have joy. The Lord’s will is not to take that suffering away. Instead of trying to look away from the grave and put your eyes in heaven, look to the grave at that moment. God’s will at that moment is for you to die and be buried with Christ, so that somehow, God can lead me to attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Php 3:10-11 “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”

Seek for Christ’s power. That power is held in things invisible, described in terms like “timetable”, “spiritual blessings”, your “values” and “life philosophy”. Then bend your heart towards these truths, so that He will direct your paths.

Blessings Through My Mum

Drafted since 2012-10-17

clip_image001

I had another quarrel with my mum yesterday before discipleship training. It seemed that I have endured her health products propaganda. The singspiration was really good. The discipleship training message is really good. Through these blessed full-time ministers, it triggered remembrance to the message God gave to our gospel station – John chapters 18-19.

Jesus had troublesome disciples. They were rash and were easily discouraged. But Jesus loved them, not in heart, but in deeds.

Peter cut the high priest’s ear, but Jesus covered his rashness / anxiousness and healed the ear. Peter denied Christ 3 times, but Jesus forgave 70×7 times. Did the disciples trouble Him? In fact, it was so much it made this Teacher look bad. The disciples were always learning but not understanding many times. Until the end, Peter even responded with Phileo love when Jesus asked him 3 times of Agape love. In Gethsemane, 2 times He went to tell them to watch and pray, lest temptation overtakes them. For the first 2 times, He told them, “Can’t you just watch for me one hour?” But they could not even listen to the Lord of Creation to open their sleepy eyes for one hour. The third time, He went and saw them still sleeping, and He left them and prayed on His own. Jesus knew He had to lead them. When band of soldiers, officers of chief priests and Pharisees came to want to take Jesus, He told them, “I told you that I am He. So, if you seek Me, let these men go.” Jesus did not want anyone whom God had given Him to be lost: “Of those whom you gave me I have lost not one.” And when He was judged by the high priest Annas, his son-in-law Caiaphas and Pilate, He faced them bravely. He could face judgment and sufferings boldy because He had already entrusted his disciples to God, and knew that they must be completely be taken care of by the Holy Spirit Who is to come, because the world had already hated them.

When you love someone, you have to take in their troubles, cover them, suffer for them, and lead them to the Holy Spirit. This written in Isaiah 53:4-6, (in my own paraphrase) “Surely He is the One to take up our pain and bore our suffering. Yet (by His looks, judgement, lousy disciples), we considered him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But (it was then discovered to our shock that) He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by his wounds we are healed. (It is us who had nailed Him to the cross! How wronged were we!) We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (How can it be, this amazing love?)” This is the only way Satan’s head can be crushed. The spiritual reason has to come from understanding that I was wrong to the spirit, but totally forgiven to the spirit by someone totally righteous.

I made a covenant with God. If the food that my mum brings to me will worsen my health, so be it. (Yes, it seems so even though out of her love as a parent, though I would not elaborate on the details here.) If the secular things she is now after will bring any “shame to the cross”, so be it. I must carry that cross. I want no other peace than being totally filial to my parents and to gain their total blessings for me – spiritual and everything.

Today evening, my father complained to me that my mum may have made someone afraid of coming to our church because she continues to chase after that elderly person to buy her health products. I had peace. I told my father, “Mother is used by God to let only those who truly and purely desire God to come to our church.” I am going to start believing that God has given the best of everything to me.

I have offered so many sacrifices, but is it true that the Lord has not given you any direction in life?

Drafted on 20120809

Have you felt the urge to be set apart from the worldly pull so that you just want to stay in blessedness, peace, vision and purpose or life?

Why do you compare with others? Why can you not stop complaining? You know it is not blessed, but you cannot help it. You always want to change to higher heights. Why are you discontented with your life? Why do you know much but the Word of God you know cannot become incarnated into your life? I tell you the truth: it is because you are "making offerings" to the Lord.

You have not known what is Romans 12:1-2 living sacrifice. Not everyone can become Paul. Not everyone can always become successful every time. God has placed stumbling stones in your life so that you can really find the reason of cornerstone Jesus Christ within your life. You are blessedly called by God to lay down your lives for people around you as an incarnated person. You are called as a spiritual main character, as an ambassador of Christ in your fields.

What if God has called you to lay down your loved ones or your desires to go to a place to serve people? What if God has called you to make prayers as a pioneer and not the leader? What if God has called you to take care of only one sheep for 30 years in your life, to bring the Spirit of Jesus in him, and that you may be totally satisfied in it? What if God has made it so that your pastor does not shepherd you in some areas so that you can love the universal church deeper? Where is the true and deep love for less fortunate, and even lending your support for the stronger?

With this understanding, you can then be unaffected by anything. And with this Spirit, you will not fear going to heaven right now, if Jesus comes again right now.

If I have some motives, I will know it because I cannot be totally transparent before brethrens at times, and that will become a topic of prayer to receive healing back to the truth, therefore, I know where I am heading. May the Lord totally tear me apart and let it be a blessing to all the people around me. What I really need is the love of Christ to be totally incarnated into me, so that it is no longer myself that works hard, but Christ living through me. And this is why I find a church, stay put in a church, and make efforts to find and test God’s promises to me through brethrens He has definitely given me for my inheritance.

Relying on the Truth (Part 5) – Relying on the Spirit That Desires To Be “Normal, Daily, Always”

Drafted since 2012-06-17

clip_image001[4]

clip_image003[4]

The truth is that you know that you have understood the Holy Spirit, when it has appeared in your hearts and mouths, hands and legs. i.e. When the Holy Spirit has worked through your life, you know that the demons are driven away, and the kingdom of God has descended. Of course, the Lord understands our faith level – what we can do and what we cannot do. Yet, you must understand that the human nature is very, very prone to idleness and needing endless comfort. There can be no healing if the heart continues to only want comfort or the blessings of God. When Israelites groaned to God about hardships faced through the 10 plagues, Moses told them to focus on the promise. When Israelites groaned when they need to face the Red Sea, Moses just replied with grace, that the Lord was about to deliver. When Israelites grumbled again when meeting bitter water at Marah, the Lord knew it was the timetable to set truths before them, so that they can be healed. The 10 commandments and all the laws, decrees and statutes were in fact a gospel covenant to the Israelites because God wanted to heal them from their spirits.

God can understand our conditions, but if we keep on looking to God to “ask God to help us”, staleness will come into our lives, and we can never look to “see how God is actually healing and helping us all the time” in the process. In other words, we have to be sensitive there might be something “better” if we go back to the original principle of God, i.e. what is “normal, often and daily” in the eyes of believers and non-believers. It might be a new timetable for you to start praying for a new lifestyle so that your conditions become more normal / blessed so that people (believers and non-believers) can easier receive the understanding about the God Who is loving, joyful, peaceful, enduring, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and having self-control.

In other words, in our walk with Christ, all our problems can be said as “being not submissive”. This is a hard phrase for many. But when I meditate on this recently again, when I humble down and see the problem of the era of churches being “cannot believe and follow”, there is a grievous hatred within me to want to let all the “members of my body” to obey Christ. This is the repentance back to the root of all things that God has originally blessed us in <Ge 1:27,28>.

The person who knows this will know how to hold his tongue as a prayer to rely on the Holy Spirit, drive demons and allow the kingdom of God to descend. What this means is the blessed Christian culture that has no holdbacks to saying “Amen” and relying on blessing people. When you meet people that you have not met before, are you someone who is slow to warm so that you cannot warmly welcome him or her in the name of Christ? That is a spiritual problem itself. Yet, are you able to do so because you are an extrovert? You need to find back your reasons of what is meant by relying on the truth and not by any human conditions.

Let me show you three things that Boaz is doing to rely on the Emmanuel Culture (God is with us always every where, letting people get an understanding that God is with them also in Spirit and in Truth).

1) Everywhere Boaz went, he said, “The Lord be with you!”, and the Emmanuel Culture was present then so that everyone called back “The Lord bless you!” May our words only be filled with peace and fruitful blessings!

Ruth 2:4 Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The Lord be with you! ”

“The Lord bless you! ” they called back.

2) Every people Boaz met, even if it is a stranger / Gentile / non-believer, he was considerate for them. In the camp, our pastor told us to wipe off the toilet seat after using so that our roommate can see Emmanuel clearer. May all our actions of proactive consideration and initiative bring peace and fruitful blessings to the people beside!

Ruth 2:9, 15-16

9 Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the girls. I have told the men not to touch you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.”

15 As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, “Even if she gathers among the sheaves, don’t embarrass her. 16 Rather, pull out some stalks for her from the bundles and leave them for her to pick up, and don’t rebuke her.”

3) Up till now, it is all just words and only commands to his servants to make peace and bless others. However, there is nothing impossible with Boaz as he is willing to lay his life for his kinsmen Naomi and family, even if they are poor <Ruth 3:10-13>, i.e. he will do all that Ruth asks. He went and put himself under the law of kinsman, and used his own money and his own life, even if it might endanger his own estate <Ruth 4:6>, to give a descendant to Naomi and Ruth. Boaz became Naomi’s kinsman-redeemer by giving his most important life away, which is his seed, to Ruth. In all our words and actions, may we never say that we cannot do this or that if the pastor asks you to help him in certain tasks for the good of the church (of course, there is room for discussion, but every leader would love to hear ‘I will do it’, or ‘I will try my best’).

Ruth 3:10-13

10 “The Lord bless you, my daughter,” he replied. “This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. 11 And now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All my fellow townsmen know that you are a woman of noble character. 12 Although it is true that I am near of kin, there is a kinsman-redeemer nearer than I. 13 Stay here for the night, and in the morning if he wants to redeem, good; let him redeem. But if he is not willing, as surely as the Lord lives I will do it. Lie here until morning.”

Ruth 4:9-12

9 Then Boaz announced to the elders and all the people, “Today you are witnesses that I have bought from Naomi all the property of Elimelech, Kilion and Mahlon. 10 I have also acquired Ruth the Moabitess, Mahlon’s widow, as my wife, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property, so that his name will not disappear from among his family or from the town records. Today you are witnesses! ”

11 Then the elders and all those at the gate said, “We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the house of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. 12 Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.”

Our problem is not any other, but that we have not believed and submitted to God. These are spiritual words of relying on the truth of Emmanuel. May our words and actions never say “Lord, You know I cannot”, but may we be filled with love, so that our words and actions make peace and fruitful blessings to even bless the Lord saying “Lord, I know You can do all things through me who knows I cannot do anything without You.”

Living in the already victorious Emmanuel, God made King David to be born under the genealogy of Naomi and Ruth, and God will make the same disciples and descendants out if we rely on an Emmanuel Culture to live each and every moment!

The Root of All Problems and The Answers From The Root

Drafted since 2012-06-11

clip_image002

A very straight and fine thread of understanding of where your root problem is, is a very important thing to know.

If you want to find direction in life, you have to know where you are going ultimately on earth. Your problem is not about having no direction, but you have no one to give you assistance. Man does not live alone. Even if you have a direction, you will still not find answers and meaning in life. Yes, ultimately, you know you want to be useful to God’s kingdom in the purpose of living. However, you still do not know that your problem is that you do not know when the Lord is actually progressing you in work. Your problem is a spiritual problem.

If you want your children to be blessed, you have to know that as parents, you do not love them enough so that they do not receive your spirit of blessings. You have not created an atmosphere of a Christian culture to seek after the Lord with an altar in the family. But that is not the root problem. You and your spouse create this atmosphere, and this is why your children cannot get it. Yet, this is not the root problem. You cannot find total enjoyment in body, soul and spirit with your husband because you do not know how and what the Lord is already doing between you both. Your problem is a spiritual problem.

If you have financial difficulties, that is not the root problem. The problem is that you still want to get certain things so that your motives and desires can be realized. Yet, this is not your root problem. The problem is that your inferiority gives place to pride, so that you cannot conquer your wants and desires. Your problem is a spiritual problem.

How do we solve the spiritual problem then? One try and it comes back worse? Since this is a spiritual problem, you cannot expect visible promotion in your career first; you cannot expect your spouse to love you first; and you cannot expect any financial aid first. Yes, they may come as grace of God, but you won’t be able to see them as “grace” if you expect them to come. You have to find “God loving you first”.

If you find that “God loves you” through Jesus Christ, you can do anything. I emphasize this: “anything”. I discover that “love” is the greatest power in the world. If love has descended on you, you can do anything and all the way. And that will touch any kind of people, and that will touch God for non-people related problems.

If not, the root problem has to be emphasized again. Your problem can only be solved by the source of your life, which is Jesus Christ, the Creator of Life.

You must find the ultimate assurance in it. You must find the ultimate purpose of joy in discovering this assurance and living the purpose of this. You must then find all your healing in conversing with God.

The check to realize the thread “to the root problems” and the thread to realize “to the solution in Christ” must be kept in the spirited and lively mind always. A person must be totally torn apart and newly rebuilt in his heart and mindset. But the knowledge of the two threads is really important. This is because, along the way of rebuilding your life, grace of God will touch you and Satan will take the chance for you to forget the temple God wants you to tear apart and rebuild up. Then you can understand your timetable of healing, and also at the same time, know where to put your strength in the spiritual battles to “lose yourself” and “receive the love of God” in that area that needs healing.

At the conclusion of life, you will find that your life is made to emphasize the cross of Jesus Christ, a testimony to your family and to all nations.

Unseen Idols Creeping Into Our Prayers (Part 2)

Drafted since 2012-05-26

clip_image002

I believe the Lord has prepared our hearts through messages for the Church Camp coming next week 4-7 June 2012. May our hearts come to find a true need for Him. Pray for us, whoever may be reading this blog J

God had to kill Balaam even though he called Jehovah his God <Nu 31:8>, and even said in humility that “the word that God puts in my mouth, that I must speak.” We can see how untruthful Balaam was in trying to test God, but in so doing, I do not think he knew he was untruthful himself in any way, but he went from bad to worse from <Numbers Chapters 22-26, 31>.

I received a lot of convictions about this passage and the passage in <Rev 2:12-17> about the compromising church of Pergamum. We need to return to our original belief. If we had wanted blessedness in our hearts to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, we have to diagnose our motives on whether we want to spend “knowing the Holy Spirit” on our pleasures <Jam 4:3>. Is it for competition in a race with other teachers? Is it so that we can present ourselves well in front of others? Is not the whole matter to find God’s loving kindness and have compassion on all men whom God has shown? If we have the heart of God, God will not have to pronounce wrath Himself on our loved ones.

“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in my jealousy. <Nu 25:11-13>

Have you prayed and received loving purpose in your morning prayers? Are morning prayers the first thing you wake up before checking and reading emails? Have you seen the need for lunch time prayers to keep your heart pure? Have you concluded your evening with prayers because the Lord, not you, has created the day and night with all things good? Have you been urged to read the bible in deeper sweetness? Have the years been sweeter as the years go by so that you continue to learn and grow in compassion to speak more of Jesus to people believers and non-believers? Have you continued to yearn to be a small group leader, not to lead, but to be equipped as a “lamb led to slaughter” <Is 53:7>? Have your doors of evangelism continued to open if you have believed it and prayed in the name of His covenant? If you compromise, know that God will allow the peaceful voice of Balaam to come into your life. You will lead a life of prosperity and peace, but you should be worried if you are still okay. But

“To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.” <Rev 2:17>

Who wants to restore the very heart of God, the very glory of Christ image where the Holy Spirit dwells? Lord, mould me and make me:

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. <Ps 139:23-24>

For all things corrupt in the belief system where the Holy Spirit might be heard, may the spear of Phinehas thrust in dead into the children of God succumbing in the seduction of Midianite woman, and may the few of us receive the blessings of Phinehas.

Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace, and it shall be to him and to his descendants after him the covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the people of Israel.’” <Nu 25:12-13>

I will be trying to list my prayer topics in a Part 3 before church camp. But frankly speaking, I have a feeling that those prayer topics probably won’t cover everything. Through the church camp, I might have more prayer topics received from heaven to my soul. But a preparation of my heart, I know, pleases the Lord.
