Finding the voice for the current era through my unique conditions of life

clip_image001

Do you have a Christian voice for this era? Both believers and non-believers need the gospel.

There are some who continually have something to say academically, but it might not be sentences that are constructed finely so that they can be used by God. Some voice out because Christian quotes makes the only belief softer. Some voice out because they hope that people may see that God’s word is all-relevant to all our lives. Some voice out because they want their lives to be meaningfully placed in God’s ultimate purpose. Some voice out because they understood and learnt something foundational and true to the gospel, and they want to make what they learn impressed on their hearts. Some voice out because it is what they experienced uniquely out from the valley of death and they hope their experiences can be of help to others. Some voice out so that there can be more variety and an encouragement of spiritual gifts for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. But we should all move towards a direction of understanding the needs of the era, and voicing out for those gaps of needs.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Christ for the building of His church. The church is Christ’s body. There is nothing wrong with the church since she is Christ’s body. But because the church is in the world, having the mystery of coexisting the faithful and the unfaithful, there is a mission for the church to continue ever-glowing. The evidence that proves the church as perfect, which is the body of Christ, is the unceasing prayers of a small group of people for the church within the church.

clip_image003

What is the English world of churches lacking right now? What is the Chinese world of churches lacking right now? Everyone has a different calling. Some are called to establish theological foundations. Some are called to preach what is spoken only in the bible and not deal with theology. Some are called to preach verse-by-verse bible expositions. Some are called to preach against the demise of morality of a nation and bear love out of it. Some are called to preach for raising a younger generation. But there is one calling that sees and knows what the current era of church is lacking and need our prayers and voices. That calling is found can only be found through “my own unique conditions of life”.

1. Finding the springs of only Christ’s Life

Jesus was born and raised up in less-than-good conditions, but He saw that He was loved by God from the very start. He has no hint of inferiority because He understood that His very own conditions were to reveal the real love and righteousness of God. True gold covered in mud would reveal more of its trueness through refinement and gold-plated mud would soon expose its fakeness. If the set of conditions you have compels you inevitably to go towards the Christ as the only answer, your set of conditions become honorable immediately, and at that moment, thanksgiving overflows. And at that very moment, your set of unchanged conditions make you confidently boast only about Christ as you understood the honorable reason of the existence of your conditions.

2. Enabling the mighty Word of God to take root in one’s life

Jesus was accused so badly, but He never felt accused in His heart because He knew what mighty word of God has come into His heart, and which can actually come in! How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? <Ro 10:14-15> “And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” It could not have happened unless the Holy Spirit has convicted me to believe and accept, thus allowing the mighty word of God (what Christ has accomplished and God’s eternal righteousness and love) to take root in my life.

3. Holy Spirit convicting the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment

Jesus knew He was in a world unfair, unrighteous and almost everyone wanted to kill, steal and destroy Him. He knew He is going to be deceived but He was able to lay His fears aside. Yet, He willingly allowed the Deceiver Satan to cause harm on Him so that every word of what is written about Him can be fulfilled. Why did He choose the path of submission? John 16:7 says, “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you.” Are you willing to go through timetable after timetable of refinement in your life? Your conditions never change, and it seems foolish to continue being deceived in the world awaiting the second coming of Christ. But when you allow the Holy Spirit to come in to convict, heal, comfort, and teach, through God’s righteousness and love accomplished by Christ, He will gradually mould you to become a holy and powerful life. Only exciting new things of doors of evangelism await you.

There are many Christian voices in the world. Yet, many of them are researching God but never enjoying God. It is not the bible that we need to study. Rather, it is the message (in the Scriptures) that needs (to be preached in order) to study us. If you allow yourself to be studied by God’s word and the Holy Spirit in this current era of voices from churches around the world, your subjective experience will enable you to draw out an objective sword of God’s word that knows what to preach to this current generation / era / world.

Somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead

clip_image001

But we are not like orphans, so that when we are weak, we can only rely on ourselves to overcome and reconcile everything in us. God is our Father. He is there when we fail, so that we will keep on being lifted up by Him from failures. His power works by intervening into our limited knowledge and emotions. God accepts us; therefore, make it a point to open up to Him. Intervention always produces struggles, but because of Sola gratia (grace alone), we know that the struggles are different from mere men; the struggles instead start from a regenerative life that moves towards spiritual healing and ends at conquering everything. If God is not proven right by having us go through repentance and humility, He won’t be able to work completely through grace alone next time. It is neither about spiritual enlightenment first, nor works first; it is about God-enablement first.

When we accept Christ’s forgiveness of our weaknesses, how do we make it less cheap of God’s grace, but really in much thanksgiving of God’s immense grace? It is when we accept neither based on the measure of our earnest plea for help so that we felt very peaceful as do the godly religious people do, nor that we can promise we won’t commit any weaknesses again. It is at the moment when we accept it as normally based on the seal of the Holy Spirit’s work on us that cannot be erased or forgotten. This work is God’s work on salvation, based alone on His initiative, which is indescribably enormous that it must work out all salvation for all our Christian life.

How do we get the power to come to us to regenerate our lives so that we can say "no" in setting apart? It is neither because we have no choice but leave everything to the turn of events that may randomly help us, nor when we felt our faith is better so that we can overcome the earthly pull. It is the moment when we realize that our Christian walk has to go through sufferings (or the length of the test of time) in order for our earthly mind to transcend just because of the only reason of the world’s existence, i.e. till the coming of our Lord Jesus. Just like Jesus was nailed on the cross, He led all to the grave and led all to the heavens; it was this suffering to obey God all the way (from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky) that produces power that overcomes the world. For example, when we are trying our best to guard our hearts and minds, the first thing that comes to our mind is testing “Am I truly happy?” When we keep on looking for satisfaction, there becomes an unbelief that results, i.e. “not satisfied = I am not there in the presence of God yet = my faith is weak”. This, essentially, is the tinge of disbelief that comes from Satan’s accusation, actually causing us to lose joy away! Let that go, for you have tried and the Lord has not meant to help you now to have joy. The Lord’s will is not to take that suffering away. Instead of trying to look away from the grave and put your eyes in heaven, look to the grave at that moment. God’s will at that moment is for you to die and be buried with Christ, so that somehow, God can lead me to attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Php 3:10-11 “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”

Seek for Christ’s power. That power is held in things invisible, described in terms like “timetable”, “spiritual blessings”, your “values” and “life philosophy”. Then bend your heart towards these truths, so that He will direct your paths.

Relying on the Truth (Part 2) – The Truth Brought To Light

Drafted since 2012-06-15

clip_image001

The truths have never changed. It is us who have changed. The Holy Spirit has never changed, but we have left Him in trying to explore Him psychologically. I realize that we can continue beating around the bush of talking about the concept of truth and Holy Spirit, but never getting it there, unless the truths are spoken, and the Holy Spirit is continually understood. When the truth is revealed, the Holy Spirit is revealed, and all the mysteries of Relying on the Truth just will just happen. Let us join all the truths of the bible together in 10 connected truths.

1) God the Father – He is the King, holding dominion of all, in control of all our lives, has already planned our lives. Therefore, our joy is found in desiring Him and in offering ourselves as living sacrifice in exchange for a renewed mind. He measures and judges all our lives, yet He protects us to keep us from falling. There is a time for everything – His providence comes not later, not earlier, but right now. He provides on time so that the essence of practical faith based on truth can be borne in us.

2) God the Son – At the right time, God made Christ the original Word, perfect model and testimony of His word. He is the light that exposes all darkness. For we all need a visible example to follow, so that all who receives Him, authority is given to them, and they are neither borne of man’s will nor a strong abstract feeling, but that truth and grace are given birth to those called the children of God. Christ is the only One Who tramples on Satan, where only salvation is found, and He is the only way to go to the Holy Spirit.

3) God the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of promise hovering in all the earth enters so that the truth can be sealed and breathed into our life, that we become a person with a living soul, i.e. because He lives, we will also live. If we desire Him, He will love us. If we love Him, we will follow His commandments, so that we can be enabled to believe in Him. Believing is to understand, so that this peace already overcomes the world, where the prince of the air resides. A spiritual man sees through and judges all things, because the Holy Spirit causes him to remember God’s teachings and voices them unlimitedly. When His covenant fills us, we will be caused to become witnesses to all nations.

4) The Bible – all teachings from the Bible that you have ever learnt and been assured before, keep it as a connected thread from when you are young, for all Scripture is God-breathed and are edifying for rebuking and for restoring correct paths. It is living and active, discerning all hidden intentions and motives, exposing areas we have been deceived. Only the word of the Lord stands forever un-swayed and absolute, and we will not receive the spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit set apart from the world. For all that the Holy Spirit wants to fulfil is every word of the bible. Those who hear and obey all that is recorded are blessed, because the time is near.

5) Righteous Angels and one third fallen – angels are ministering spirits often coming from God and going back. They are moved when we pray to restore every word of the scripture to be fulfilled, and they perform works on earth to answer our prayers. They are what are in the air, not in the heavenly realms where the absoluteness of God cannot be shaken. Yet there is Satan leading a third of the heavenly hosts to fall with him, always desiring to eat up Christ. The great dragon, accuses the saints day and night, yet all these are to give birth to testimonies through their blood of suffering with Christ. With limited time, they disguise cunningly as angels of light to give worldly wisdom through God’s laws and enjoyment in feelings of lust. We were formerly dead in sins, unknowingly being controlled by the prince of air. Yet when we are revived in our spirits, there begins a spiritual battle where we are called to wear the armour of God in defence and in counterattack by relying on Holy Spirit, praying in all forms. We can drive demons away victoriously because we know he is surely thrown into lake of fire at the end of time.

6) Kingdom – Though we need to go through ministering angels to reach the unshakable God, and are often beaten, we have already been seated at the right hand of God as Christ has been resurrected in us. We now belong to this Kingdom with heavenly citizenship as the kingdom has descended upon us. Therefore, when we continue to seek first His kingdom, all answers can be realized, and the kingdom expands, and all who are appointed are gathered to Him. By the signs of times, we know the kingdom is near, yet it comes only when the gospel has been preached to all nations. At the end, the new heavens and new earth will descend, where God will be our God forever in praises and blessings, God with us and us with God.

7) God’s people (myself) – The kingdom can only be descended to those who are chosen before the creation of the world. When we hear truth of God’s word, we believed, and the promised Holy Spirit came into our lives. We become the Holy Spirit’s temple, a vessel, an incarnation of the Holy Spirit, where God uses us at every role to build body of Christ, the church. For we are the only chosen tribe, honoured priest, holy nation, called to proclaim the gospel that calls people from darkness into light.

8) Church and breathren-relationship – there is a group called out to be worthy of our calling received, therefore, in all gentleness and humility, endurance and love, serve one another. May one Father, one Christ, one Holy Spirit, one belief and one vision baptize into us all as a bigger me. When we as a group persevere in the pulpit messages, brethren-living, and relay prayers, miracles follow, all brethrens come together in sharing and relying on one another’s grace in their hearts in daily spiritual and practical individual poverty, evangelism, discipleship and missionary needs. Yet, as they praise God with absolute answers, they receive the favour of men. And the result of it is that the church receives added numbers daily.

9) Lifetime purpose (four gospelizations) – This is the intercessions of Christ for the church, that by the mercy of God, we can offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, as this is pleasing to God, and this is our reasonable service to God. Be always empowered through being filled with the Holy Spirit, for four gospelizations happen naturally through personal witnessing of God’s work. Make disciples of all nations, baptize all in the Name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teach them, and you will see how “I will be with you when you preach the word”. Those who believe will be saved; those who do not believe are already cursed. Christ sits on the right hand of throne of God confirming His word by the works of God done through the intercessions of saints, who know the intercessions of Christ for the church. Yet, through all these, God’s emphasis is to restore love. If we love God, He bids us to feed His sheep. Through agape love, we will one day be led by the Holy Spirit totally, where we restore to be like Christ. For the time called day, follow His steps with this lifetime purpose.

10) Limited time, eternal judgement and crown – For all will die, and they are judged at the end. At the conclusion of Christ’s intercessions for the church, we have a daily account and testimony with Him, i.e. we need to face the Lord’s Spirit ourselves individually. All who worship the devil will have a mark; sufferings and great wrath follow them on earth. We who are on earth must persevere, for the Lord will come again, and give crown to all who pass the kingdom test. It is up to the individual of how much he realizes and follows Christ. For all those who take up their cross, leave their houses, families, money and follow Christ as disciples, they can see a hundredfold on earth immediately – possessions, family, inheritance, plus the blessings of persecution as in the last test of Mount Moriah – coming to them daily as crown. Lastly, in ages to come, and they will receive eternal life when they cast their crowns before God.

I have added another part to the series (so that one blog would not be too lengthy too), so this makes this series a 5-part series.

Unseen Idols Creeping Into Our Prayers (Part 3)

Drafted since 2012-06-01

clip_image002[5]

I have asked the Lord how we should restore our original Christian walk if we have strayed and have unseen idols of Balaam creeping into our prayers. I have also asked the Lord what we should do in a mature mind to view our Christian walk. Some people will just let go in a pitiful state, and just leave each day to God. Some people will cry to God but have no answer, so they return back to their powerless state. In summary, the answers I receive are

1) Never let go of the original belief even if you cannot do so or cannot see it happening in your life, just because it is the truth. Repent daily at evening time so that you may be cleansed of any compromising spirit from a day in the world. If you found the wrong peace through compromising faith, the original voice of God will come and lead you back if you have this uprightness. The more we do this, the more we will be sanctified, and staying in the earthly world will only cause us to grow further in the Lord. This is not something to be done out of courage, but it is because the problem is at the root, and this problem is the vicious one. It has to be removed.

2) Proceed to know the blueprint / timetable that starts from the original belief and do not be accused. You will know where you are standing in the timetable. Know by logic, rationale and education the timetable from the church leaders, the bible, the history of churches in progressive parallelism, and from people around you. Also learn the correct original belief that should be in place by discovering the unseen idols and immorality that you have compromised. It is in everyone. Format the word of God and equip it by looking it down into your heart. Carve it in your heart by confirming till the heart resonates with the word naturally. Expose it with the light of Jesus. This is the Holy Spirit. God never leads His people backwards. If one door closes, there must be other doors for you to attend to. God never loses His face. We may not know tomorrow, but it is absolute (seen from the whole bible and the history that He leads) that great and unsearchable things will be shown to those who believe, revere and love the Lord.

3) Love your own timetable right now. Continue to do what you have been doing. Change nothing. There is a definite to test and approve from spirit to heart to actions <Romans 12:1>. Without which, God cannot accomplish anything. Then after you have obeyed the Lord, test and approve your mind, that you may renew it <Romans 12:2>. Don’t grumble, complain or ask people for approval. You have to be practical. Face God yourself. He is guiding repeatedly, but He is also guiding progressively. In fact, the person who knows Emmanuel does not look so much to a new timetable or a change of conditions. He loves his timetable and God is pleased to lead him wherever he goes. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight <Pro 3:5-6>. In all things that you meet, take that as lessons of the heart. The greatest blessing is not a better blessedness, but it when you can see that the Lord loves you and you can say with confidence that you love God at that point in time right now.

Php 3:16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

Ro 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.

4) At the end of everything, it is about Love. This impression is carved into my heart forever from one day onwards. When I was about between 7-8 years old, I saw TV dramas vividly about after life in hell. At around the same time, I studied and forced Science into me since Primary school that there is no afterlife. Yet in my heart, visions came upon me that seem to tell me that the mind (soul) of man cannot just die off. It was very clear, but I was not upright, and just rejected the simple. When I was about 12 years old, I attended a camp where I saw people crying because of being touched by love of God the Father. I was happy that I was wrong all along because I found love. When I was about 14 years old, I went to a LTC camp by Campus Crusade for Christ. There was an underground church game, I was made a pastor; nobody told me I wasn’t to renounce my faith, I renounced the faith anyway. But deep in my heart, I renounced faith so that this pastoral leadership can be given to another member in my church, so that the gospel can continue to the next generation. It was a painful experience being labelled unfaithful stereotyped. At the end of the camp, there was a pastor I remembered so vividly. When he spoke, he had an amazing expression that He knew God very personally. He spoke, “At the end of the day, do you have love?.. At the end of the day, love God and love your neighbours as yourself.” Campus Crusade is well-known for their evangelism-driven purpose, so much so it was sometimes unfeeling whether they cared for ministry or cared for souls. This pastor left in me the deepest impression ever. And I discover that all throughout my Christian walk, “love” is not something you like so that you want to propagate it. “Love” comes in a greater measure to those who have held to a greater measure of righteousness. It is much greater and better appreciated to those who have held on to the laws of God and have received a greater measure of accusations than others, and to those who have died. At the end of the day, do I live my family life, do I attend church, and do I participate in the camp for my own blessedness, or is it to love the little children or small sheep? At the end, we are meeting up with brethrens all over our Christ Life Churches. They all have Christ in their lives. Aren’t they the purpose of my living? Sacrificing one small self, fulfilling the great myself – the church – this kind of love is Christ’s love. This love is the love of a missionary. The love of a missionary goes down to understand a person. When I am able to find myself naturally and sincerely loving, and I know that my heart is filled with more love than before, you will feel immensely thankful to the Lord that He has sanctified you. Nothing and no one can take away what you have been sanctified, and this is the power shown through love.

The following are the manifestation of love and relationships.

5) Remaining down-to-earth through living with church brothers and sisters. No one answer is correct unless what you experienced in the Lord is applicable to the brethrens around you. If your heart has peace through your prayers with the Lord, do not be totally satisfied by it. The experience and answers that you have received, take them into the fields of the church brothers and sisters. If in your heart, only you can “get it” but not them, then you know that you are in your own world already, i.e. your “answer” that only you understand isn’t really practical. Of course, you have to see their timetable, but you cannot always treat your brothers and sisters as “not always getting it”. If you continue in it, the spirit of despising brothers and sisters slowly form up in you. The Holy Spirit always reminds me to go back to Relay Prayer Topics, Prayer Meeting contents, and news of brothers and sisters. They make me practical and down-to-earth. Brethrens are the ones who are your anchor, who support you as neighbours in times of need. When you live together with brethrens, their recommendations often are the most relevant and non-coincidentally the best blessings that can bring to your family. Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you as well <Mt 6:33>. In fact, this things added to you pleases the Lord most if they come from assistance from brethrens. Brethrens are made in God’s perfect will to grow the church.

6) Grasping the era by expanding contacts with regional and overseas brethrens. The love for brethrens or for a family can grow until a certain degree, unless it begins to try to understand another brethren from another culture. This is a missionary love. A love will become selfish if it continues to care only for an enclosed family or church. There was once I went China. The things in China are cheap to a local Singaporean like me. We buy things with less of a thought. With an accompanying sister who earned her salary in China, once, we asked if she needed any drinks. She walked into a store, but took a simple mineral water drink and walked out, thinking everything was just normal. We were travelling together as coworkers in a mission trip. However, that really caused me to think more sensitively, “Am I willing to become like a China person drawing the same salary just so that she can feel at more ease with me, so that I can really minister to her out of love, and she can really feel the love of a shepherd, not a teacher?” This camp, we will meet many brethrens overseas. Humans have a tendency to just say “Hi and Bye” to a foreigner, and not care much more because we have many of our family and brethrens to take care already. However, if the Lord has led me to know some of their problems, and if they are led to share to me their needs of gospel answers in their own situations, this camp should be one to pray to intercede for them rather than just knowing them. By knowing another culture deeply, we will then understand the love of Christ, Who, out of 33 years, was willing to spend the first 30 years becoming one like man, being filial to His earthly parents and teaching/setting an example for His younger earthly brothers as the eldest brother in the family, and working in the Israel society at that time as a carpenter. We will then understand how hard it is for Him to show the Agape love more than the Storge love to His mother and brothers waiting outside for acknowledgment, when He said, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” <Mt 12:46-50>. And we will then understand the love when He stretched out His hands on the cross and said, “Forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”. And we will then finally understand why He has to resurrect in order to give the Holy Spirit, so that His disciples can do greater things than what He did <John 14:12>.

7) Coworkers. I can see very good coworkers appearing in my life. At the end of the book of James, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” <James 5:16>. I yearn for the day this could come not by reluctance, but through willingness. This is the best kind of love that can be shown on earth. It is the love between coworkers sharing one same vision, one pursuit and one perspective in Christ. No quarrels or differences can ever divide them, because they love by knowing and trust in depth. I cannot describe the utter joy of this, but this is shown hidden in this verse, the heart of Christ “Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.” <Col 1:24>. This is written by Paul, but what do you think Christ must have thought? Jesus would have agreed wholeheartedly that Paul was Christ’s coworker filling up in his flesh what is lacking in Christ’s sufferings for the elect. This is why Paul, Christ’s coworker, can write in such a depth about Christ in the book of Colossians as if knowing him from the creation of the world till the fullness of Christ in a person’s 7 fields. This type of “turning a sinner from error” covers over a multitude of sins!

James 5:20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

May the Lord touch us greatly in the camp!

Three Thirsts To “Receive, Rely and Enjoy” the Holy Spirit

Drafted since 2012-04-09

… Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. <Jn 7:37-38>

clip_image001

The following came to me when I prepare for prayers on 2012-04-09 to lead the congregation to prayers. As I begin to reflect and evaluate on how much Holy Spirit’s convictions I can find in my life till now, I realize there are three gaps, but which always impress me to continue to be more like Christ and to equip the Holy Spirit.

1) There is always an authority in Jesus Christ when He speaks

“No one ever spoke the way this man does,” the guards replied. <Jn 7:46>

It is not about His words, but it is about His perspective that is set apart and discerned to cut the hearts of men. This is the Spirit of born again. This is where you are able to discern the very way and place the Lord descends on your heart. It is about God-driven and not man-driven. It is the gospel and not religion. It is grace and truth. It is unconditional yet God Who chooses stubbornly. It is not about an external power yet the overcoming power when Christ is exalted. It is not about surrendering to lust or cravings but submission to the Holy Spirit. This is the belief system. This is the theology of the New Testament.

2) Answers that heal

When a shepherd gives an answer, he is more anointed when he has more life experiences than when he has less. Whether be it spiritual questions, questions of the heart being weak, of the uncontrollable mental depression and insinuations, difficulties of diseases and illness, unorganized lifestyle that is unsure of where to start tidying up, of complex interpersonal relationships in different levels and angles of receiving hints, deep unforgiving hurts between spouses, having a control carving and educating children, tough decisions between spending and saving financially, and of having fruits in serving the Lord – there is always an answer, a perfect will and a wisdom that will lead to men being convinced at that point in time. Do people around you love you more and more? Do they find a man of integrity, a life of testimonies? This is the 10 healing messages. These are the answers that can be found through relying on the Holy Spirit in 1) daily, discovering and adding more wisdom through walking with God. This is the lifestyle system. This is the spirit of the teachings in the Old Testament.

… “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” <Jn 8:11>

3) Nothing can be learnt more than when in a church praises God together with their differences

Nothing can be learnt more where there is one same goal, vision, and heart, AND different timetable, healing and graveness of problems, yet, there is continual loving and learning of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, loving one another, the more mature serving the weaker, the weaker giving thanks for pastors, and having unity in love and praise to God. When the congregation sings together, they rely on one another’s voice to climb Jacob’s ladder, where angels go up and down from the heavenly realms. When the Spirit of God moves about the congregation, healing swiftly takes place in their life and gospelization work happens in parallel in their 7 fields. This is the vessel of faith, expressing itself in the heart that always quickens to look in hope eternal light, through love, i.e. faith expressing hope in love. This is <Acts 2:41-47>, the unity of the Old Testament and the New Testament in the universal church.

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

A Man After God’s Heart

Drafted since 2012-02-09

clip_image002

The heart of God is love, the mind of God is the perfect will in His laws, and the hand of God is sure fulfillment.

Christ is not Jeremiah’s love, neither Elijah’s power, nor John the Baptist repentance, but Christ is of these 3 anointing in one. Christ is not of Joab who has laws, wisdom and strategies, not Saul who represents power and might, and not the great felt love like that of Jonathan, but of David 3-in-1.

Rationale, Joab has it (he is the nephew of David, has strategies and wisdom through the laws of God) and even though he betrayed David, God had still used Joab for Israel. Saul had spirit (Spirit of God came upon him, but his temper is also great, thereby easily influenced by the evil spirit), and even though he went worse in being influenced by the evil spirits, God still used Saul for Israel. Jonathan/Michal had love (they represent the great passionate love of storge, phileo and eros. Idols became okay for Michal. Jonathan and Michal looked like weak people who seek only love and not power and fame like their father), and even if Jonathan died a tragic death with Michal an unloved concluding life, God had used Jonathan by working greatly through him to cause panic to Philistines.

God can use anyone. God can use a person who knows the wisdom through God’s word. God can use a person who relies on the spiritual realms. God can also use a person who is loved and seeks only love. But they are still far away from God’s heart. So what if you have been used by God in His kingdom? So what if you have tasted the joys of seeing God’s response to your faith? So what if you knew the ways of comfort? Few people have really known the heartof God.

David is (1) a man (2) after God’s (3) heart.

For those who love the Lord, sufferings have already taken place in their lives, because they are not of the world. But for those who continue to tear themselves apart to seek for the precise heart of God, God will show “a man after God’s heart” to them.

The “(1) man (2) after God’s (3) heart”

(1) Because of an undeniable Relationship (love) (Love started from God. Love grows in truth. Love knows. Everyone is related to one another. Therefore, this chosen, called, “beloved”, favored, blessed heart come understanding that this relationship is divinely graciously given, sealed and locked away permanently in the depths of his life. This forms the basis of all his life)

->

(2) He Seeks (perfect will from statutes of God, always come to face God alone, always humbly repent, tear himself apart to seek the ever glorious ways and methods of God, not before men but in plain sight of God’s throne. The laws of God must have a deeper meaning back to the heart of God, for God can make it possible to speak concisely, powerfully and wisely through His word of revelation)

->

(3) From his own conditions (God’s heartbeat is for a man to be found with God’s heart. Therefore, the promise given to him applies to all the given conditions by God. A person who believes will test and approve over and over again, and find God’s heart appearing more and more in his own heart).

Oh, how I wish to receive the heart of David, the heart of Paul, the heart of Christ! May the Lord imprint on me the everlasting glory of Christ’s heart that is on every of His glorious image.

The Hardware, The Software, and The Freedom in Christ

The Word of God is absolute and it says that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word was among men, but men do not know Him and darkness fills the hearts of men. The light of the world is in the Son of Man. This light shines grace and truth upon all to let them discover who they really are, as children of God. This is absolute, eternal and definitely cannot be compromised. Without absoluteness, there is no hope of resurrection. This is Logos, and is the beginning and the end.

Yet, the Word of God cannot be held strongly alone, else the structure of the hearts of men will misunderstand the essence of God’s word. Strangely, when a person grasps on the Word of God rigidly, he is already in a state of religion, man reaching out to God, and he will die. No one can see the face of God. There is no one without weakness. The Word of God is given so that its voice will reach the most contrite of men, and they will respond deep from within their hearts. The Word of God is given not to be required by it, but to allow a person to overwhelmed by the power and works of the Word of God. This is recognizing the Holy Spirit when the Word of God is received into the inner hearts of men. “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” <Jn 1:12>. The Word of God has to melt the hearts of men, the intention and will of God that already happened before the creation of the world must pierce out from within the heart, and it must give life and voices, from the inside out. This is analogous to the Holy Spirit blowing His Spirit into men made in the likeness of God.

Yet, where is the mystery of all these? Between the hardware (Word of God) and the software (Holy Spirit), Christ has shown the best and only perfect model. The main works of Christ is in death and resurrection, or on the cross. He knew the Word of God, then He let the Word reign in His body to the full, so that when His body passes away, the Holy Spirit is borne in full. I hope I have been clear enough here.

What I actually mean is – take for example – working life. We definitely need an absolute Word of God (gospel and gospelization) to tell us the purpose of life as children of God. Yet working life must be Holy Spirit inspirational, creative and wise; seeking, testing and approving the original creational intent of the perfect will of God in that matter at that time. The only way to connect the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is that you must let yourself go totally in between the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, yet holding firmly in both, and this is called prayers. Prayer is a mystery that fulfills the total measure of death of resurrection of Jesus Christ, and allows the Lord of Creation to be honored, glorified and convicted to work beyond the limited hands of men in your daily work. Prayer makes sure it starts with love and ends in self-control. Most importantly, if we accord to the works in the spiritual world, work may seem to fail in the eyes of the world, but time and angels will prove it.
